If you haven’t heard about it already, the Western Shugden Society has sent an open letter to Robert Thurman asking for him to provide evidence of his claims that Shugden practitioners are the Taliban of Tibetan Buddhism and sponsored by the Chinese.
Bob Thurman is a professor at Columbia University and the author of many books on Buddhism. Bob made his claims that Shugden practitioners are the Taliban of Tibetan Buddhism the same year (1997) that he was said to be in the top 25 of influential Americans by TIME magazine. Does Bob Thurman misuse his power and influence for the political purposes of the Dalai Lama?
Now is the time to dispel false accusations against the innocent.
